Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 20, 2026
Last Updated: July 5, 2026
Cue the Moment is operated by Cue The Moment LLC ("Cue the Moment," "we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Cue the Moment mobile application.
By using Cue the Moment, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide
We may collect information you provide directly, including:
- Account information, such as your name and email address;
- Authentication information when you sign in using Apple, Google, or another supported login method;
- Event, playlist, section, and cue information you create in the app;
- Uploaded audio files you choose to add to Cue the Moment; and
- Communications you send to us, such as support requests, feedback, or bug reports.
b. Audio & Content Information
Cue the Moment allows you to add your own audio for playback ("Uploaded Content"). You can add audio by uploading existing files or by recording audio within the app. Recording requires your permission to access your device's microphone, which you can grant or revoke in your device settings.
Uploaded Content, including audio you record in the app, may be stored locally on your device and/or securely in cloud storage associated with your account to enable syncing, backup, and offline playback features. Audio you record is stored as a file in the same way as audio you upload. We do not send your recorded or uploaded audio to our AI voice provider, and we do not use it to identify you.
We do not claim ownership of your Uploaded Content.
We do not routinely review, listen to, analyze, or monitor the contents of your Uploaded Content. Uploaded Content is used only as needed to operate the app, provide core functionality, respond to support requests, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
c. Connected Music Services
Cue the Moment may allow you to connect supported third-party music services, such as Apple Music, to organize and play content from your own account.
When you connect Apple Music, the app uses Apple's MusicKit framework to access information needed to enable playback, such as music library, playlist, catalog, and playback information. This access requires your permission and your own active subscription.
Your interaction with Apple Music or any other connected third-party music service is also governed by that service's own privacy policy and terms, which we do not control.
We do not receive your Apple Music password or Apple Music payment details, and we do not store the underlying streamed music files. We access only what is necessary to let you build and play your cues.
You can disconnect a connected music service or revoke its permissions through the app or your device settings.
d. Purchase & Subscription Information
If you purchase Cue the Moment or subscribe to paid features, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store on iOS or by Google through Google Play on Android.
We do not collect or store your payment card details.
We may receive limited purchase-related information, such as purchase status, subscription status, transaction identifiers, receipts, renewal status, or entitlement information, so we can confirm and manage your access to paid features. We use a subscription-management provider (RevenueCat) to help us verify and manage subscriptions and access to paid features.
e. Automatically Collected Information
When you use the app, we may automatically collect limited technical and diagnostic information, such as:
- Device type and operating system;
- Device or installation identifiers;
- IP address;
- App version;
- App usage and feature interaction data;
- Crash logs;
- Diagnostic information; and
- Performance data.
We use this information to maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Cue the Moment. We do not use advertising identifiers to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not use the app for behavioral advertising.
f. AI-Generated Announcements
Cue the Moment offers an optional feature that lets you create spoken announcements ("AI Announcements") for your event using an AI voice. This feature is powered by a third-party AI voice provider (ElevenLabs).
When you use this feature, the text you enter is sent to the AI voice provider, which converts it into synthetic speech that is returned to the app.
- We send only the text you type. We do not send your uploaded audio files, your account details, or your payment information to the AI voice provider.
- The text you enter may include names or other details about your event, guests, or wedding party. Please do not enter sensitive personal information, or another person's information, that is not needed for your announcement.
- The audio produced by this feature is artificially generated. It is not a recording of a real person, and we do not use this feature to imitate or recreate the voice of any real, identifiable person.
- We use the AI voice provider as our service provider under a data processing agreement, and we have opted out of allowing the provider to use the text you enter to train its AI models. The provider processes your text to generate the audio you request and to maintain the safety and security of its service, and it may process your text on servers located in the United States or other countries. Its handling of your text is also governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and operate Cue the Moment;
- Create, manage, and authenticate user accounts;
- Save and sync your event, playlist, cue, and uploaded audio information;
- Generate AI voice announcements you request, by sending the text you enter to our AI voice provider;
- Enable connections to third-party music services you choose to use;
- Verify purchases, subscriptions, and access to paid features;
- Respond to support requests and user feedback;
- Improve app functionality, performance, reliability, and user experience;
- Diagnose crashes, bugs, and technical issues;
- Maintain the safety and security of the app; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
We may occasionally communicate with users about product updates, service updates, or related features. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
3. Payments
Payments and subscriptions may be processed by Apple through the App Store on iOS or by Google through Google Play on Android.
We do not collect or store your payment card details.
Apple's and Google's handling of payment information is governed by their own privacy policies, billing terms, and refund policies.
Cue the Moment may receive limited purchase or subscription information so we can verify your access to paid features.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in limited circumstances, including:
- With trusted third-party service providers that support core app functionality, such as cloud storage, database hosting, authentication, analytics, and crash reporting (for example, Google Firebase), subscription management (for example, RevenueCat), and AI voice generation (ElevenLabs, to convert announcement text you enter into synthetic speech when you use the AI Announcements feature);
- With third-party music services you choose to connect, only as needed to enable that connection;
- When required by law, legal process, or a valid request from authorities;
- To protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of Cue the Moment, our users, or others; and
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Service providers that process information on our behalf are expected to safeguard your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
5. Data Storage & Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information.
Cue the Moment is available globally, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. When we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required by law.
6. Your Choices & Rights
You may:
- Access or update your account information within the app;
- Disconnect any connected third-party music service;
- Delete your account and associated data in the app from the account screen;
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@cuethemoment.app; and
- Contact us with questions or concerns about your data.
Some information may be retained for a limited period when necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, backup, or legitimate business purposes.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide Cue the Moment, maintain your account, support app functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
If you delete your account, cloud-stored data associated with your account may be permanently deleted, subject to backup, legal, security, and legitimate business retention requirements.
Deleted data may not be recoverable.
Files stored locally on your device may need to be deleted manually from your device.
8. Children's Privacy
Cue the Moment is intended for users who are at least 18 years old and is not directed to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.
These rights may include the right to know what personal information we collect, access or correct your information, request deletion, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
As stated above, we do not sell your personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another region with comprehensive data protection laws, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Cue the Moment is the controller of the personal information you provide through the app. We process that information to provide the app and perform our agreement with you, to comply with legal obligations, with your consent, and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the app.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. When you use the AI Announcements feature, our AI voice provider processes the text you enter as our processor under a data processing agreement; please do not enter another person's personal information unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
To exercise any applicable privacy rights, contact us at:
We may need to verify your request before responding.
10. International Users
Cue the Moment is available to users in multiple countries but is currently offered only in English.
If you use the app from outside the country where our systems or service providers are located, your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries, where privacy and data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by law, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for these cross-border transfers.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
Continuing to use Cue the Moment after an updated Privacy Policy is posted means you acknowledge the updated practices described in the policy.

Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 20, 2026
Last Updated: July 5, 2026
Welcome to Cue the Moment! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Cue The Moment LLC ("Cue the Moment," "we," "us," or "our") and explain the rules for using the Cue the Moment mobile application.
By downloading, accessing, or using Cue the Moment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What Cue the Moment Does
Cue the Moment is a music planning and playback tool designed to help users organize songs, playlists, and special audio moments for weddings and events.
Depending on the features available to you, the app may allow you to:
- Upload your own audio files;
- Organize music by event section;
- Create special moments;
- Control playback, fades, and timing;
- Generate spoken announcements for your event using an AI voice; and
- Connect supported third-party music services, such as Apple Music.
Cue the Moment does not provide, sell, license, or supply music. The app is a tool that helps you organize and play music you provide or access through a supported third-party music service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use Cue the Moment. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Cue the Moment is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or use the app.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure.
You are also responsible for any activity that happens under your account.
4. License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Cue the Moment to plan and run your own events.
Cue the Moment, including its software, design, features, logos, and content (other than Your Content and third-party content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license granted above, we reserve all rights in the app.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent the law does not allow these restrictions.
5. Your Music, Audio, and Licensing
You are responsible for the music and audio you use in Cue the Moment.
Cue the Moment does not provide music, sell music, license music, or provide public performance rights. The app is a planning and playback tool only.
By uploading or playing music through the app, or by playing music through a connected third-party music service, you confirm that you have the rights, permissions, subscriptions, or licenses needed to use that music in the way you intend.
If your event, venue, or use of music requires a public performance license or any other permission for live or public playback, you are responsible for obtaining it. Cue the Moment does not provide public performance licenses from organizations such as ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR, or similar organizations.
Cue the Moment does not determine whether your event qualifies as private, public, commercial, or otherwise. You are responsible for following any applicable copyright laws, venue rules, licensing requirements, and third-party music service terms.
6. AI-Generated Announcements
Cue the Moment offers an optional feature that turns text you enter into spoken announcements for your event using a third-party AI voice service. The audio is artificially generated and is not a recording of a real person.
You are responsible for the text you enter and for how you use the generated audio. You agree not to use this feature to:
- Enter text that falsely presents the announcement as a statement from, or on behalf of, a real person without their consent;
- Enter another person's personal or sensitive information without their permission or another lawful basis; or
- Generate content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or infringing.
AI-generated audio may contain errors, including mispronunciations or unexpected output. We recommend generating and reviewing your announcements in advance and testing playback as part of your full event setup.
Your use of this feature is also subject to the terms and acceptable-use policies of the third-party AI provider that powers it.
7. Third-Party Music Services
Cue the Moment may allow you to connect supported third-party music services, such as Apple Music.
Your use of any third-party music service is subject to that service's own terms, restrictions, subscription requirements, and privacy policy.
Cue the Moment does not control third-party music services and is not responsible if a service changes, disconnects, restricts access, removes songs, or becomes unavailable.
8. Uploaded Files, Sync, and Offline Use
Cue the Moment may store uploaded audio files on your device and/or in cloud storage connected to your account so that features like syncing, backup, and offline playback can work.
You keep all rights in the audio files, playlists, event details, and other content you add to Cue the Moment ("Your Content"). To operate the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, sync, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the app's features to you. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for copies retained as described in our Privacy Policy or required by law.
Availability of uploaded files may depend on your device, internet connection, account status, storage limits, operating system, and app settings.
If you delete your account, delete the app, change devices, lose access to your account, or allow a subscription to lapse, some content or features may no longer be available.
9. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Some Cue the Moment features may require a paid purchase or subscription.
Payments may be processed through:
- Apple's In-App Purchase system on iOS; or
- Google Play Billing on Android.
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, depending on where the purchase was made. Cue the Moment does not control Apple's or Google's billing, cancellation, subscription, or refund decisions.
10. Using Cue the Moment Responsibly
You agree not to:
- Upload or play music you do not have the right to use;
- Use a connected music service in violation of that service's terms;
- Use the AI announcement feature to falsely present text as a statement from a real person without their consent;
- Enter other people's personal or sensitive information into AI features without their permission or another lawful basis;
- Attempt to bypass payment, security, or content protection features;
- Copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the app;
- Use the app for unlawful purposes; or
- Interfere with the app's operation or another user's experience.
We may suspend or terminate access if the app is misused or these Terms are violated.
11. Live Event Reminder
Cue the Moment is designed to help make event music easier to manage, but live events can involve factors outside the app's control.
Playback may be affected by things like device battery, speaker setup, Bluetooth connections, internet access, user error, venue equipment, operating system behavior, or third-party music service availability.
We strongly recommend testing your full setup before your event, including your device, speakers, playlists, uploaded files, connected music services, fades, offline access, and any AI-generated announcements.
Cue the Moment cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or flawless playback during a live event.
12. Copyright Concerns
Cue the Moment respects intellectual property rights.
If you believe content stored through the app infringes your copyright, please contact us at:
Please include enough information for us to review the issue, including your contact information, a description of the copyrighted work, and a description of the content you believe is infringing.
We may remove content or suspend accounts when appropriate.
13. Account Deletion
You can delete your account and associated stored data directly in the app from the account screen. You may also request deletion by contacting:
When your account is deleted, cloud-stored content associated with your account may be permanently removed. Files stored locally on your device may need to be deleted manually.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
Cue the Moment is provided "as is" and "as available."
We work hard to provide a reliable experience, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system, speaker, music service, or event setup.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cue the Moment is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including event disruptions, lost data, lost profits, emotional distress, or playback failures.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the app or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
16. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cue the Moment and its owners and operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your misuse of the app; your violation of these Terms; your violation of any law or the rights of any third party (including music licensing, copyright, or public performance rights); the content you upload; or the text you enter into AI features. This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own violation of law.
17. Apple and Google App Store Terms
If you download Cue the Moment from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the following:
- These Terms are between you and Cue the Moment only, and not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content.
- Apple and Google have no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and (where required) Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Apple and Google are not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer-protection claims.
- Apple and Google are not responsible for investigating or resolving any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes intellectual property rights.
- Apple, Google, and their subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
18. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Cue the Moment regarding the app and replace any prior agreements on that subject. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, but we may assign them, for example in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
Continuing to use Cue the Moment after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If you are a consumer, this governing-law choice does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
